What We Do
TS Fernie serves Market Harborough and the surrounding villages in South Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire. We offer young people aged 9-18 a real adventure through boating, fieldcraft, drill and first aid. Cadets build confidence and develop courage, commitment, discipline, respect, integrity and loyalty.
Join TS Fernie
Our programmes run on Tuesday and Friday evenings at Meadowdale Primary School. Cadets learn sailing, kayaking, powerboating and rowing. They earn nationally recognised qualifications such as BTECs and First Aid on land, as well as from the RYA, PaddleUK, and British Rowing on the water. They make friends, try new challenges and have fun.
Volunteer with Us
We need local volunteers from Market Harborough and nearby villages to help run weekly sessions—no experience required. We provide complete training. Whether you can offer one evening a week or help with admin from home, your time makes a real difference to young people in our community.
